The world's safest head protection is worn around the neck like a collar. When an accident occurs, the airbag inflates and protects your head. Scientific studies show that the airbag technology is 8 x safer than classic bike helmets.
The integrated sensors in the Hövding measure the rider's movement 200 times/second. In the event of an accident, the airbag deploys within 0.1 seconds.
The Hövding may only be used on urban bicycles (including e-bikes up to 25 km/h). S-pedelecs are excluded from this.
Hövding is tested and certified for people 15 years and older and for head sizes 52-59 cm (circumference) and for a neck size of 32 to 45 cm (circumference). For optimal comfort, the neck size should be at least 34 cm circumference.
The Hövding 3 comes in one size. The BOA® Fit System helps you adjust the collar to your correct size.
It can also be connected to the specially developed Hövding app via Bluetooth. When you connect your Hövding to the app, you can make use of great and thoughtful features like:
- Store selected contacts: If you have an accident, the app will send a message about your location to your stored emergency contacts
- Get an overview of your activities: You can view your own information, such as how many kilometers you have driven or how much CO2 you have saved. Compare your data with that of the Hövding community.
- Everything under control: You can keep an eye on the battery level of your Hövding. And if the charge does get too low, there's a charge reminder.
The collar is made of a black, waterproof and dirt-repellent material. The front zipper makes the Hövding easy to put on and take off. The activation is done via the front loop. Included with your Hövding is a black base cover, which is made of a durable and functional material. This cover protects your Hövding from dirt and rain. The Hövding should always be used with the base cover or one of the seasonal covers.

Hövding is tested and approved for people over 15 years old with a head circumference of 52-59 cm (20,5-23,2 ") and a neck circumference of 32-45 cm (12,6-17,7"). For optimal comfort, we recommend that the neck circumference is at least 34 cm.

Hövding may only be used for cycling on two-wheeled bicycles (standard models) in urban environments and on rural roads.
Extended warranty for inflation without bicycle accident
- 2 years from date of purchase
- Always keep your original receipt as you will need to show proof of purchase to claim under warranty
- Applies if your Hövding has been inflated without a bicycle accident, provided you have used the product correctly (see user manual).
- Hövding reserves the right to replace your product with a new one or refund your purchase
- You must keep your Hövding until the matter is deemed closed by Hövding. This is to allow you to inspect the product if needed
