Information on the disposal of batteries

According to the battery ordinance, we are obliged with the distribution of batteries, or sale of devices containing batteries, to inform our customers of the following.

The disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste is prohibited bybattery law. As a consumer you are legally obliged to return used batteries.

After use, you can return batteries free of charge at the point of sale, or at various contact points in their immediate vicinity. These include municipal collection points or the trade.
A dispatch to our retail store to the following address is also possible.

Batteries containing harmful substances are marked by the symbol with the crossed-out trash can. All these batteries must be disposed of properly. If pollutants above the following limits are contained, you will also find a marking for this.

Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
Cd = battery contains more than 0,002 mass percent
Cadmium Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.
