Chike cargo bikes have been around since 2017, but the idea for a light and agile bike, with which you can transport children or loads well and safely, was already born in 2012. The cargo bikes that were already on the market were too big and too unwieldy for the theoretical physicist Tobias Prager. In 2013, he decided to start the Chike company with his brother Manuel and to develop an easy, compact and agile cargo bike that can also be carried out comfortably in the city.
