However, the associated exploding demand for bicycles has enormous effects on the entire bike industry - and Woom is not spared.
For the production of our bikes, we need components that are produced by many highly specialized supplier companies. A Woom 3, for example, consists of around 50 components - if only one of them is missing, the bike cannot be fully assembled and production comes to a standstill.
Due to the extremely high demand for bicycles in general, the delivery times of many components have increased drastically. In addition, we do not use components "from the bar" for our bikes, but components that we have developed especially for children and which have to be made especially for our bikes. If our suppliers reach their production boundaries, we cannot simply buy these special Woom components somewhere else or replace them with standard components - because then we would not be Woom.
